What All-on-4 means

All-on-4 is a way to replace a full arch of missing or failing teeth using just four implants. The posts are angled to make the most of your available bone, which often avoids the need for bone grafts, and a fixed bridge of teeth is secured on top.

Unlike a removable denture, it doesn't come out. It stays fixed in place and works like a natural set of teeth, so you can eat and speak with confidence. In many cases a temporary, same-day bridge is fitted so you don't leave without teeth, while your final bridge is made in the clinic's in-house lab.

Your jaw is mapped in 3D from a CBCT scan, so the four implants are positioned to make the most of your available bone.

Angled implants

Tilting the implants often makes the most of existing bone, which can avoid the need for bone grafts in many cases.

Same-day transitional teeth

In many cases a fixed temporary bridge is fitted the same day, so you don’t leave without teeth while your final bridge is made.

In-house CAD/CAM lab

Your final fixed bridge is designed and made in the clinic’s own laboratory, for a better fit and closer control of quality.

Comfort options

Because it’s a bigger procedure, comfort and pain-management options, including sedation, are discussed and planned in advance.

A written guarantee: 10 years on implants

Implants are guaranteed for 10 years; the fixed bridge for 3 years (composite) or 5 years (zirconia), all set out clearly in your treatment plan before any work begins.

Full-arch package prices are estimates for the four (or six) implants plus the fixed bridge. They exclude any CBCT scan, sedation, extractions or bone grafting that may be needed beforehand, which are quoted separately, so real quotes can run higher. A same-day transitional bridge (from £775) may also be fitted while your final bridge is made. Everything is set out clearly in your written plan, with no hidden fees.

Is dental treatment abroad actually safe?
Yes, when it is done at the right clinic. Romania is an EU member state, and its dentists are EU-regulated and trained to European standards. Our partner clinic has 20+ years’ experience and over 15,000 patients treated, with modern equipment that includes CBCT 3D imaging and a 3Shape digital scanner. We work with this one clinic and no other, because it is the one that meets that standard.
How many trips will I need, and how long will I be there?
It depends on your treatment, and we will tell you honestly in your plan before you commit. Many treatments are finished across one or two trips. Bucharest is only around 3 hours’ direct flight away, so a second visit, where it is needed, is straightforward to arrange.
Will it hurt? Can I be sedated?
Modern dentistry is far more comfortable than many people fear. The clinic plans carefully, using CBCT 3D imaging and a surgical microscope for root canal work, to keep treatment as gentle as it can be. You will talk through comfort and pain-management options at your consultation, so you know what to expect before anything begins.
What if something goes wrong once I’m back home?
You are not left to sort it out alone from 1,500 miles away. Your written guarantee comes with your treatment plan: 10 years on implants, and up to 5 years on crowns, bridges and full-arch work depending on the material, with the specific term for each item set down in writing before any work starts. If something then feels off, you have a single UK point of contact, so you tell us rather than a call centre abroad. We take it from there, dealing with the clinic on your behalf, and with your own local dentist too if you would rather they took a look first. Where remedial work is needed, the clinic carries it out under the terms of that written guarantee.
